
Arnel Ricafranca – Founder
Arnel Ricafranca, FMS Certified / CrossFit Level 1 (CF-L1) Trainer, has been a fitness boot camp coach for the past 5 years. He has helped hundreds of people from all walks of life. His fitness boot camp has been featured in Morris Health and Life (April issue), New Jersey Life (Sept issue), A.M. Connection (national TV show), The Best of Morris Magazine (Spring issue) New Jersey 101.5 radio, and more.
Arnel also publishes an online fitness newsletter called “Abs Secrets” that is enjoyed by half a million readers in over 170 countries. In additional, Arnel was awarded by the “President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports” for helping America get fit and healthy.
He is constantly researching new and innovative training strategies from reading over 527 research papers, training hundreds of in-person clients, and working with thousands of clients online.
He has a degree in Exercise Science with multiple personal training and nutrition certifications to boot. His goal is to provide you with the most effective fitness boot camp to accelerate fat loss through real research and real life testing.
Diana Gil – Head Coach
Diana Gil, resident of Roxbury township, is an AFAA certified personal trainer. She pursued a bachelors degree from Montclair State University in physical education and health while participating in 2 collegiate sports. With 17 years of competitive swimming and 4 years of girls lacrosse, nutrition and physical conditioning plays a huge role in her life.
Fit Boot Camp training was more of the ideal training she was looking to do to condition her body to the fullest. Gym like settings helped get her stated. But during time it became more of a same-old routine. She tried to constantly change her workouts to not get her body established to the same movements. But with given equipment in the gym, there was little she could explore with.
In a Fit Boot Camp facility she is now able to push herself to the fullest extent her body could handle and see results faster. With constant variations she feels she is able to go beyond the gym-like settings. What caught her attention was that Fit Boot Camp utilizes sand bags, gymnastic rings, battling ropes, sledge hammers, and many more equipment you would not see in a regular gym.
As part of the Fit Boot Camp community she is able to give back to those seeking extreme body conditioning and help transforming their bodies.
Colin Chelton – Coach
Coin Chelton, Certified Fitness Trainer, spent 15 years as a competitive figure skater training world-wide before settling his training in Colorado Springs, CO working towards the goal of the Olympic Games. During his training he learned from world renowned coaches, and athletes about different methods of physical fitness training, and nutritional programs to gain the most from training.
After finishing his skating career, he went on to earn his Bachelors in Culinary Arts with an emphasis on French cookery from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.
Always having a passion in physical fitness and nutrition he joined FitBootCamp for three months and knew right away this is exactly what he wanted to do and pursued an intense training program for the next 6 months to become an official FitBootCamp coach.
Karen Gerber – Coach
Karen Gerber a resident of Florham Park, is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a NJ Certified Massage Therapist.
After a successful 15 year Corporate career in the Wireless Industry Karen finally decided to change careers and take her personal passions of health and fitness and turn them into her professional passions as well. Health and fitness has always been a part of Karen’s life but in 2010 she decided to take it to the next level by not just having it as part of her life but encompassing everything she does. She went back to school and became a Certified Personal Trainer in October 2010 and became a Certified Massage Therapist in July of 2011.
Karen understands the challenges and stresses of balancing family and career and how many time a persons health and fitness take a back seat on the priority list. The reality is, the healthier life a person leads the better equipped they are to balance all that life throws at you. Not to mention they are a happier person as well.
Strength training and weights has always been a core focus for Karen but she found that she got bored easily and needed change things up to ensure that she was continuously challenging herself and her body this is where Fit Boot Camp is the perfect fit. Every day is a new challenge that allows Karen to continue to push herself to new gains. This coupled with the fact that Fit Boot Camp is within anyone’s ability, there is no
limited on who can do what. Every exercise can be modified or can be scaled to ensure success and results for all walks of life. This is really what inspires Karen to be a part of Fit Boot Camp.
Karen is also an avid runner, completing her first Marathon last year and continues to run and train for future Marathons and Half Marathons.
Jesse Vince-Cruz – Assistant Coach
Jesse Vince-Cruz is one of the founders of Fit Boot Camp and is a Crossfit Level 1 (CF-L1) Coach.
He has been inspiring people to lives of health and fitness for over 6 years. His passion for life and sport has led him in many directions – from Tae Kwon Do, Hiking, Biking, Blading, Kayaking, Volley Ball, Tennis and Golf.
His skills as a coach come from years spent as a student, his “beginners mindset”, and his desire to grow and learn continuously through life. He trains and coaches individuals and groups of all ages in fitness and athletic conditioning.
His workouts, designed to be completed in less than 25 minutes, are the most effective and efficient you’ll find anywhere.
Pam Schoenfeld, RD, Holistic Nutritionist
Her goal is to help you reach your goals, whether your objective is weight loss, improvement of body composition, increased athletic performance, and/or managing chronic conditions including diabetes and pre-diabetes, hormonal, digestive, or immune system disorders.
She focuses on balancing your diet to meet your individual nutritional requirements while accommodating your personal food preferences and lifestyle.
